The EUVECA consortium meets in Brussels for the final Partner Meeting

From 23 to 25 March, the EUVECA consortium gathered in Brussels for its 8th and final Partner Meeting, marking the conclusion of several years of collaboration on strengthening skills and vocational excellence in the healthcare sector.

Throughout its implementation, EUVECA has focused on supporting the development of vocational education and training (VET) systems, fostering collaboration across regions, and promoting innovation in skills development for the future health workforce. Key achievements include the establishment of Regional Vocational Excellence Hubs and the development of shared tools and approaches to enhance learning and cooperation at European level.

As the project reaches its final phase, discussions during the meeting centred on the consolidation of results, final reporting requirements, and the sustainability of key outputs. Particular attention was given to ensuring the continued use and governance of the Edu4Health platform, designed to support ongoing learning, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among healthcare professionals and training providers.

A key moment of the week was the Final EUVECA European Conference on 24 March, which opened the project’s results to a wider audience and provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the future of skills development and vocational excellence in the healthcare sector.

The EUVECA consortium extends its appreciation to all partners and stakeholders for their continuous engagement, expertise, and commitment throughout the project. Their contributions have been key to the project’s implementation and have supported the development of a strong foundation for continued collaboration.

As EUVECA concludes, its outcomes, including the Edu4Health platform and the network of Vocational Excellence Hubs, provide a basis for sustaining cooperation and further strengthening the healthcare workforce through skills development, innovation, and shared learning across Europe.
