E-Health is one of the most important topics of the Public Service in which Trentino is putting together a set of best practices to provide excellent services to all the people.
The Provincial Council of Autonomous Province of Trento appointed the Competence Center on digital health called TrentinoSalute4.0 in December 2016 as a governance tool for the development of digital health.
The Center is jointly governed by the Autonomous Province of Trento (PAT), the Local Health Care Trust (APSS) and the Bruno Kessler Foundation (FBK) and represents the meeting point between the health system, research and the territory (policy).

PAT will participate to the creation of the European Platform for VET Excellence in Healthcare (EPVE) and will collaborate with the other VET excellence hubs from the 6 other European regions.PAT will also develop part of the content for the European Platform for VET Excellence in Healthcare (EPVE), ensuring its sustainability. Finally, PAT will be acquitted in testing the platform and will provide insights in promoting factors as well as barriers.
